UP THE PIRATES A GREAT WIN What a night rabs Indeed, but as much as I was spell bound by Jason's riding, well everyones - if it comes to that, if it had not been for Bjarne working for that third position it could have been another story. Though, I was also impressed by Hans Andersen, always looking for his partner and also Leigh Adams and Greg Hancock. Well, they were all great. To old timers like me 'team riding' is alive and well. At least in this kind of event anyway. ;D

Well I managed to find the track no problems at all...in fact I allowed so much time in case I did get lost, that we got there extra early!
I enjoyed the whole thing, the kids loved the stunt bikes (and the dirt they stood on, talk about Time Team revisted).
My feet were jolly painful by the end though, by that point I had been on them, either standing, walking or dancing for nearly 6 hours, so it was a quick exit to the car before the fireworks (watched from the car while waiting to get out the car park) so didn't join in the celebrations on the centre concrete.
What fun we had getting out of the car park....20 minutes it took us but I am not moaning, I did expect some delays getting out and we did have a laugh at some of the very weirdly parked cars...oh and the people trying to edge out into the queue (I did let a few in, I am not that mean)
To complete my day, I then drove to my parents caravan in Great Yarmouth, a trip that my auntie said would take 2 hours (and the AA 1 hour 40) but which took me just over the hour!

It's good to see that the BSPA seem to be being professional about the Super 7 series, grid girls with special suits & unique race jackets for the riders.
Bodes well.

Yep must admit I can't say a wrong word about Crumpy atm. He's proving to be a committed member of the team. I'm just gutted the forum is down, I was so looking forward to reading posts from some of the usual suspects on the forum who just wouldn't be able to bring themselves to congratulate us I enjoy very good health, Bunny, in that I don't suffer from Poole paranoia [see my posts on the EL Pairs thread on the Belle Vue forum] All I can say is : Congratulations Jason and Bjarne (aka Poole Pirates) on a fine victory![/b][/i][/size] Ron.

I hope the racing was as hot as the Grid Girls. Someone should have at least gone through 'their routine' with them before the meeting. It was laughable watching them almost trip over each other as they didn't really have a clue what they were supposed to be doing. Some fine tuning needed imo in readiness for the next S7 meeting. ;D
