When you're as old as me, you begin to think you've seen absolutely everything there is to see. And then you see something that makes you realise you haven't. The SpeedwayUpdates site has their usual warnings to Polish sites on their thread for the Italian GP. Such arrogance. Do they seriously consider that the likes of sportowefakty will be desperately scanning SpeedwayUpdates to find out what's happening? Aside from anything else, can they actually claim "ownership" of the updates when their information is coming directly from Sky? Have they sought Sky's permission? Personally, for those of you without Sky, I'd use the following: 207.218.233.253/launch_speedway_277.html

Actually it was on the advice of the big sites, like the one you mentioned above, that we now have the warning. Not arrogance but a big site like the one above, helping out the smaller site (Speedway Updates) as they were annoyed at yet another Polish site, using the updates off Speedway Updates, using them as their own and then getting paid for them. Apparently that is a big no no in Poland.

It's arrogance and just what you'd expect.

Arrogance? How?
We took the advice of people who know the ropes better than us! We didn't ask for it, in fact we were not even aware of it until it was brought to your attention by one of the big sites in Poland.
They were the ones who said we needed to put the warning, I didn't and nor did any of the other team members, see it as needed.

The arrogance to believe you can pass off information gleaned from Sky television as your own. Why would they want to use your semi-reliable information when they can get accurate information from the official GP site?

Sue
Don't rise to it!
There are things more important in life, like health etc!
You are doing what you have been advised to do, no more, no less, and it doesn't matter if the updates come via Sky or via a texter, there is still someone in Britain that is typing all the information on the Speedway Updates website for those that do not have access to Sky to follow the meeting.
Speedway Updates are providing a very valuable service to fans around the country and many times around the world!
When we post the results onto the BSF (when it is up and running) we always note that these are courtesy of Speedway Updates, so there is no reason why others should not do that same!

Well, I'd be wary of using the information anyway. I'd certainly be checking and double checking the details.

Well, I've seen at least one incorrect result posted on the BSF. And has speedworld.tv been credited for the information on the first Lonigo GP, which appears to have been culled directly from: www.speedwayworld.tv/en/news/a7691

Tut, tut, tut, queen of the Fairies, you'll be in trouble for that. Don't you know it's Speedway Updates? Anyway, the incorrect result emanated from Speedway Updates.
