Ok, trying to improve people's moods and bring a slightly lighter note to this site.
Are you ready for christmas?
Any funny stories involving present buying, previous chrismases etc?
And to continue on a thread currently appearing on the main site, what are your plans for the christmas period? Any nights out planned? Romantic breaks?
You get the gist of it..... ;D

In my role as universal grandfather I try to have a joke or two with the checkout operator. Then there's Sammi, one of the waitresses, who needs a bit of cheering up at the moment.
But first I have a fence to mend - that's more important.
Ron.

I'm just thinking about getting round to possibly writing a list so that I can go out and maybe get a bit of shopping tomorrow.
Or I might just stay here and look through more Forum contributions.
Yes, that sounds a better idea...

That's very kind of you, Ron. But don't worry I have a few fish fingers and a tin of beans to see me over Christmas.

Oh, how you tug at my heartstrings, Norman old friend, I have just emailed you a bottle of my best Moulin Rógé, the finest champagne ever brewed in my garden shed - together with an ample supply of Alka-Seltzer.
